Estate Agency Foundation Newsletter

Bill McClintock Welcome from the Chairman
Welcome to the first 2012 Estate Agency Foundation newsletter. Firstly I would like to thank all of our supporters who helped us raise a record £82,000 last year. This is a fantastic conclusion to what was a great year for the EAF.
To see how the EAF has distributed the funds to the homeless charities we supported in 2011 please click here. This wouldn’t have been possible without all your help and support, so thank you. The funding has already made a big difference to the charity projects involved.

Emmaus Shelter

Our fundraising target for 2012 is £150,000 so please help us again this year with your kind donations.

The EAF are supporting the following charities this year: Shelter,
St Mungo’s and Broadway and we will be sharing regular news and updates from the charities throughout the year.

The Zoopla Property Cycle will take place in July – August this year which involves Jon Cooke from Intercounty and EAF Trustee and Chairman of Newmans Estate Agents, Sean Newman, cycling for 33 days around the UK in aid of the EAF. Please get involved in this huge industry event in any way you can. I shall be joining The Property Ombudsman Christopher Hamer on a tandem bicycle to officially start the ride. There are many ways you can become involved. Find out more.

The EAF will be holding a Coffee Morning Week from 14th – 20th May and call all offices to down tools and have some fun raising money for charity whilst enjoying networking with your clients.

The EAF Ambassadors Scheme now has over 80 estate agents and suppliers to the industry who have joined and this year we are encouraging even more agents to participate. To find out more about how the scheme works click here.

We look forward to seeing you at some of the EAF events planned for this year.

Please help us to eliminate the causes of homelessness in 2012. Your support will make a huge difference.

Many Thanks
Bill Mc Clintock
